Yakobo is a versatile musician, composer and songwriter with a growing track record of music that deeply connects with audiences. His soundtracks to puzzle games on Xbox/Steam/PS4 – Pneuma: Breath Of Life and The Turing Test – have been praised by fans and critics and have sold thousands of soundtrack copies alongside the game itself.
On Yakobo’s original singer-songwriter records he has crafted sound worlds that have resonated with fans around the planet. They are catchy, haunting and heart-warming in equal measures.
The score for indie film L’eglise Sur L’ocean merges Yakobo’s song-based work with his instrumental compositions. Moments of flowing, wistful harmony mingle with uplifting, groovy music that drives the pace of the film.
Yakobo has also written and produced children’s songs for the primary school science resource supplier Developing Experts, and music and songs for Sam’s House, a project providing play therapy for child refugees.

Pneuma: Breath Of Life (Xbox One/Steam/PS4 game, 2015)
“Honestly, we had a lot of choices when it came to composers for the Pneuma soundtrack. Being on Xbox is a big deal and we want to get it right. When Yakobo showed us his demo we were quick to see that this was the guy. He’s great at taking an idea and running with it, I think the sound track is such a huge part of how a player feels in a video game. We put our game in his hands and he’s done a fantastic job with the music.” – Joe Brammer (Producer, Deco Digital)
